Job Description Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a seasoned developer (5 years experience) who can build, optimize, and maintain high-performance e-commerce applications and websites. This role is fully on-site at our Winnipeg facility-no remote option. What You'll Do Design, write, modify, and test website-related code Develop website architecture and integrate front- and back-end systems Determine hardware/software needs for optimal server performance Build custom Shopify features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Create mockups, wireframes, and UI/UX storyboards Optimize web content, graphics, and interactive media Prepare documentation, reports, manuals, and technical notes Maintain and update existing software and applications Gather user requirements and translate them into technical solutions Research new media tools and evaluate emerging technologies Represent the company at trade shows, showrooms, and product design events Skills & Technical Knowledge HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript React Shopify theme/app development Git version control Social media integration UI/UX design capability Strong understanding of e-commerce systems Knowledge of Crystals, Gemstones and Fossils advantages You Are Accurate, organized, and detail-oriented A problem solver with strong judgment Excellent in written and verbal communication Dependable, creative, and resourceful A team player with strong client-focused thinking Requirements Bachelor's degree 5 years experience in web development On-site availability in Winnipeg (mandatory) Valid passport Clear criminal record check Eligible Applicants Canadian citizens Permanent residents of Canada Work-permit holders legally allowed to work in Canada Include: Cover Letter Letter of Recommendation Highest Level of Education & Institution Answers to Screening Questions: Are you authorized to work in Canada?
