Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions. Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques. Mountain driving expertise. Load and unload goods. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform brake adjustments. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses�: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement. Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports. Bill of lading. Driver logbook. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Maintenance and repair reports. Trip reports. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Large workload. Physically demanding. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Hard hat.
