Job Description Job Description The Class 5 Driver - Lumber Deliveries will operate a flatbed truck to deliver lumber to residential and commercial construction sites, retail customers, and mixed-route destinations across local city and regional routes. Reporting to the Logistics Coordinator, the driver will manage driver-loaded (yard staff may assist with loading) and driver-unloaded deliveries while coordinating with dispatch and delivery teams. Responsibilities Deliver lumber to residential construction sites, commercial construction sites, and retail customers. Inspect the vehicle and maintain equipment in safe operating condition. Secure lumber loads safely for transport and unloading. Navigate local city and regional delivery routes. Load and unload materials as required throughout the delivery workflow. Complete delivery documentation accurately. Coordinate schedules and route updates with dispatch. Provide professional customer service while maintaining safety compliance. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of commercial truck driving experience. Valid Class 5 driver's license. Defensive driving skills. Load securement experience. Route navigation experience. Vehicle inspection knowledge. Knowledge of commercial vehicle regulations. Safe material handling skills. Time management, customer service, and communication skills.
