Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Dusty. Tasks: Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions. Load and unload goods. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses�: Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks). Specialization or experience: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge. Security and safety: Basic security clearance. Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Personal suitability: Flexibility. Organized. Reliability. Patience. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
