Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Pay and receive payments for goods. Perform preventive maintenance. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses�: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles). Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports. Bill of lading. Driver logbook. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Trip reports. Type of trucking and equipment: Flatbed. Tractor-trailer. Communication systems experience: Citizens band (CB) radio. Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Drug test. Medical exam. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Weight handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Employment terms options: Early morning.
