Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Evaluate daily operations . Plan and organize daily operations. Plan for changes to schedules and policies. Supervise staff. Train staff. Arrange for shipping documentation and the tracking and tracing of goods in transit. Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods. Negotiate for services and preferential rates. Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods. Oversee the setting of transportation service rates and monitor revenue. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Supervision: 5-10 people. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Initiative. Judgement. Organized. Reliability. Team player. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
