We are seeking a skilled Taper to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in drywall installation and finishing, with the ability to read blueprints and work collaboratively on various projects. As a Taper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that surfaces are prepared and finished to the highest standards, contributing to the overall quality of our construction projects.

*Responsibilities*

* Apply tape and joint compound to seams and corners of drywall to create a smooth finish.
* Measure, cut, and install drywall panels according to project specifications.
* Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and layout.
* Perform sanding and finishing tasks to prepare surfaces for painting or other treatments.
* Collaborate with carpenters, painters, and other construction professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
* Conduct caulking tasks as needed to seal gaps and joints for improved aesthetics and insulation.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

*Experience*

* Proven experience in drywall installation and finishing techniques.
* Familiarity with blueprint reading is essential for understanding project layouts.
* Background in carpentry or maintenance person services is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of construction painting processes will be an advantage.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality workmanship consistently.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
