*Duties*

* Preparevariety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
* Maintain high standards of food quality, freshness, and safety at all times
* Select and prepare fresh ingredients, including fish, vegetables, and rice
* Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to sanitation guidelines
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of orders
* Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
* Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations
* Assist in menu development and presentation ideas to enhance guest experience

*Skills*

* Proven experience asSushi Chef or similar role inprofessional kitchen setting
* Strong knife skills with precision and speed in sushi rolling and cutting techniques
* Knowledge of Japanese culinary traditions, ingredients, and presentation styles
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure infast-paced environment
* Excellent attention to detail and consistency in food preparation
* Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
* Certification or training in food safety and sanitation is preferred
* Passion for Japanese cuisine and creativity in dish presentation

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
