Entuitive is looking for an Intermediate Structural Engineer, based in our Toronto office. Take the opportunity to learn more about the structural engineering service at Entuitive. We are passionate about our work and the talented individuals that get to deliver complex projects onregular basis. What will you do? Structural engineering design and calculations for all structural components including columns, beams, slabs, foundations, and lateral systems. Design and engineering using materials such as structural steel, concrete, masonry, cold formed structural steel, and wood. Assemble and coordinate engineering drawings and contract documents in collaboration with our BIM technologists and other members of the engineering team. Conduct field reviews and other contract administrative duties. Draft project-related correspondence as needed. Participate in client meetings facilitating solutions to design issues and challenges and providing status updates. Review of architectural, electrical, mechanical, and structural drawings. Mentoring of junior staff with design and delivery elements ofproject to ensure standards are upheld. Provide input into the development of project budgets when required. Such other duties and responsibilities as Entuitive may assign to you from time to time. Requirements What do you need to succeed? An engineering degree withfocus on structural engineering 6+ years of structural engineering �experience in the design and construction of buildings/structures. Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) licensure. Strong technical judgment and advanced problem-solving ability Knowledge of the appropriate building codes and standards (OBC/NBCC, CSA A23.3, CSA S16, etc.). Strong project management capability withproven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget. Working knowledge and ability to use programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel and structural analysis software (SAP2000, RAM, etc.). Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to work with people at all levels including project stakeholders and clients. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and deliverables on an ongoing basis. Benefits Why Entuitive?
