*The Role*

We are seeking a motivated *Structural Engineer* with a minimum of *2 years of relevant experience as a professional engineer* to join our growing Winnipeg team. This is an ideal opportunity for a recently licensed P.Eng. who wants hands-on involvement in a variety of building projects. You will work closely with senior engineers on *residential (including multi-family housing), commercial, and large-scale municipal* developments, focusing on *wood, steel, and concrete* structural design.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Perform structural analysis and design of wood, steel, and concrete systems for residential, commercial, and municipal projects.
* Prepare detailed structural calculations, design drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
* Support construction administration, including site visits, reviews, and coordination with contractors and other consultants.
* Collaborate with architects, owners, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, cost-effective, and code-compliant solutions.
* Ensure designs meet the _National Building Code of Canada_ (NBCC), _Manitoba Building Code_, and relevant CSA standards (e.g., CSA S16, A23.3, O86).
* Use industry-standard software for analysis and drafting while assisting senior engineers with project deliverables and client communications.

*Qualifications*

* Bachelor?s degree (or higher) in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited program.
* *Minimum 2 years* of structural engineering experience in building design (residential, commercial, or municipal preferred).
* Registered as a *Professional Engineer (P.Eng.)* with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba (EGM), or a recently licensed P.Eng.
* Proficiency in structural analysis software (SkyCiv, ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, or similar) and drafting tools (AutoCAD and Revit experience considered an asset).
* Solid working knowledge of wood, steel, and concrete design per Canadian codes and standards.
* Strong technical writing, communication, and teamwork skills.
* Valid Manitoba driver?s license and ability to attend occasional site visits in the Winnipeg region and surrounding areas.
