Position: | Security Guard (Full-Time)Site: | Windsor Regional Hospital - Ouellette Campus Address: 1030 Ouellette Ave, Windsor, ON N9A 1E1 Hours: | Monday- Friday (0000-0800)Payrate: | $ 22.07/hourPosting Date: 12/29/2025Internal Closing Date: 1/2/2026External Closing Date: 1/30/2026Key responsibilities: Patrol Hospital Grounds: Conduct regular rounds of hospital premises, including parking areas, hallways, patient rooms, entrances, and exits, to ensure the safety and security of the site. Daily lock and unlock of facilities. Access Control: Monitor and control entry points to the hospital, ensuring that only authorized individuals are allowed access to restricted areas. Inspect and screen bags or cargo using equipment of hands Perform searches of passengers with tools or by hand Monitor and screen passengers through screening checkpoints and other procedures Provide Customer Service: Greet and assist visitors, patients, and hospital staff. Provide directions and ensure that guests adhere to hospital policies and procedures. Conflict Resolution: De-escalate tense situations, resolve conflicts, and ensure that all interactions are handled calmly and professionally. Report Writing: Document daily activities, incidents, or accidents accurately. Complete reports on incidents, breaches, and security concerns. Collaboration with Hospital Staff: Work closely with hospital staff and local law enforcement to provide a coordinated security effort and ensure the safety of all parties involved. Enforce Hospital Policies: Ensure that hospital policies, including visitor and patient protocols, are followed. Address any violations in a manner that upholds hospital safety standards.
