We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented *Sales Associate* to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, has a strong work ethic, and brings a positive, can-do attitude to every shift. As the first point of contact for our customers, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience from start to finish.

In this role, you will engage with customers to understand their needs, recommend suitable products, and process transactions quickly and accurately. You?ll also help maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor while ensuring that store standards are consistently met. Greeting customers warmly, demonstrating product knowledge, and going the extra mile to assist shoppers are essential parts of the job.

This position requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, unpacking inventory, and maintaining product displays. Experience in retail sales is preferred, and familiarity with the pet industry is a bonus, but we are happy to train the right person!

*Key Responsibilities*

* Greet every customer with a friendly, professional attitude
* Assist customers by identifying their needs and recommending the right products
* Provide in-depth product knowledge and perform demonstrations when necessary
* Accurately process cash, credit, and other types of transactions at the register
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment
* Restock shelves, manage inventory, and ensure displays are neat and appealing
* Answer phones professionally and assist with customer inquiries
* Work collaboratively with team members to meet store goals and ensure smooth operations

* Outstanding customer service and communication skills
* Energetic and positive attitude with a willingness to learn
* Strong sales ability and confidence in recommending products
* Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
* Basic proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling transactions
* Excellent time management and multitasking skills
* Prior retail experience preferred
* Experience or interest in the pet industry is a plus, but not required
* Comfortable interacting with both people and animals

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
