registered veterinary technician (RVT)

In this role, you?ll support veterinarians by delivering excellent patient care, assisting with lab work, and helping keep daily clinic operations running smoothly. *Responsibilities*

* Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and treatments
* Prepare animals for procedures, including sedation and anesthesia administration
* Perform laboratory tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic procedures
* Collect and process samples accurately while maintaining proper documentation
* Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
* Monitor patient vital signs and recovery post-procedure
* Educate pet owners on animal care, medication administration, and follow-up procedures
* Maintain cleanliness of treatment areas, surgical suites, and laboratory equipment
* Keep detailed records of all procedures, treatments, and patient information

*Experience*

* Certification or licensing as a Veterinary Technician is advantageous
* Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
* Excellent communication skills with pet owners and team members
* Compassionate attitude with a genuine love for animals
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
* Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if required
