*Job Overview*

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a role in supporting and teaching MLA program at DEA Canadian College. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where precision and professionalism are essential. The Technologist will be responsible for teaching MLA students, preparing lesson plans, and ensuring compliance with the college standards.

*Responsibilities*

* Deliver lectures, demonstrations, and lab instruction
* Develop lesson plans aligned with program outcomes
* Use a variety of instructional methods (lecture, simulation, case studies)
* Develop and administer tests, assignments, and practical evaluations
* Assess student competencies against industry standards
* Provide timely feedback and academic support
* Maintain accurate student records and attendance
* Ensure curriculum aligns with regulatory and industry expectations
* Participate in program review and continuous improvement

*Requirements*

* Proven knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication and documentation
* Prior experience working in a healthcare or clinical setting is preferred but not required
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data management
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with healthcare teams
* Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and procedures within a fast-paced environment
* Relevant certifications or educational background in health sciences or related fields are advantageous

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $40.00-$52.00 per hour
