Quality Assurance Officer

We are looking for a QA Officer to assist with our flange and fitting manufacturing operations. Pro-Flange is an established engineered steel manufacturer located in Cambridge, ON. We have a full warehouse, manufacturing floor, and office support. We have low turnover and aim to find the best candidate to join our dynamic team.

The primary role of the candidate is to provide Quality Assurance support to all areas of the company. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the candidate will focus on the areas of Production, Sales, and Purchasing, providing guidance and support for operations and outcomes. Duties and responsibilities include managing:

*Duties*

* Non-Conformances ? identification and investigation
* Material and Product conformity (ASME BPVC, CSA, etc.)
* Inspection ? receiving, on-line, first-off, and last-off
* Technical specifications and standards (steel, forging, etc.)
* Improvement and support of Quality Systems

*Experience*

* Demonstrated experience in QA and QC in the industrial manufacturing sector
* Knowledge of ASME BPVC, and interpretation experience
* Working with Sales and Production on corrective and preventive actions
* Quality System control and management

A detailed oriented individual, the candidate will be able to work independently and communicate effectively, as part of a team environment. Time management and prioritization of tasks are essential, and success in the position involves applying technical and industry standards. Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems, and spoken and written command of the English language, are all assumed.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $27,500.00-$32,500.00 per year
