The appraisal establishes an accurate replacement cost estimate, creates a concise record for features, finishes, utilities and overall construction, and helps clients manage risks to their home and possessions. The role includes initiatives aimed at providing personal growth opportunities, while supporting overall department goals.CustomerConduct insurance appraisals of TD's residential risks. Appraisal reports establish adequate coverage amounts, identify potential additional coverage needs, document and photograph materials, finishes and unique characteristics, and provide end-to-end risk mitigation and client consultation.Coordinate insurance oversight of construction projects, both renovation and new construction, and ensure adherence to agreed-upon timelines and loss control measuresContribute to the legendary customer experience by collaborating with internal and external partners while demonstrating accuracyManage customer relationships, promoting the TD brand by acting as the face of the company during appraisals.Analyze and resolve disputes related to customer complaints, replacement cost and risk engineering, etc.Review quotes of complex risks to provide replacement cost and risk management guidance.Quality control reviews of appraisal reports from internal staff as well as vendor companies.ShareholderAdhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for our business areaEnsure respective programs/policies/practices are well managed, meet business needs, comply with internal and external requirements, and align with business prioritiesExercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalate issues where appropriateEnsure business operations follow internal and external compliance requirements.
