Production Welder

*Reports to*: Production Manager

*Location*: 2485 Speers Road, Oakville

Mancor Industries is a world class precision manufacturer of metal components and sub-assemblies that use metal cutting, forming, machining, welding, assembly and paint. We use state-of-the-art machining and fabrication techniques in a lean, self-directed work team manufacturing environment to produce high value-added, cost-effective products for our strategic partners.

*Responsibilities*

� Read and interpret work orders and technical drawings.

� Perform welding duties in accordance with work instructions and inspection sheets, and technical drawings.

� Understand and comply with Company Health & Safety standards and programs

� Able to do GMAW welding

*Education & Qualifications*

� Welding Certificate or Diploma

� Valid CWB welding ticket is an asset

� 5 years of welding/fitting experience ? Metal Core Wire and Hard Wire

� TIG welding experience as an asset

� Experience with forklift, jib/overhead cranes is an asset

� Physically capable of performing the essential duties and responsibilities of the position including regular lifting and carrying of 5-23 kgs.

� Ability to work safe and independently within a fast-paced environment.

� Written and oral communication in English.

*Salary and Benefits*

� Salary: CAD 27 ? CAD 29 Hourly, (Depending on Experience)

� Medical & Dental after 3 months

� Flexible with hours of work - able to work Day/Aft shifts and OT as required.
