Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers). Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery. Clean and maintain work space. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Forklift Operator Certification. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Overhead Crane Certification. Equipment and machinery experience: Cylinder grinder. Surface grinders. Tool grinders. Universal grinders. Repetitive machining operation experience: Turning. Grinding. Area of specialization: Machining. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
