Reporting to the Deputy Chief Constable, the Inspector plays a critical leadership role in overseeing operational policing functions, including Patrol, General Investigation Section, and Communications. The position is responsible for coordinating daily operations, supporting strategic initiatives, and ensuring effective service delivery aligned with the Department's mission, vision, and values.�The Inspector works collaboratively with senior leadership, internal teams , and external agencies to address� operational� issues , enhance organizational performance, and strengthen relationships with the community. �ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSThe ideal candidate will demonstrate: Progressive experience in policing and operational leadership roles. Strong understanding of policing operations, legislation, and provincial standards . Experience in supervising teams and managing complex operational enviro nment s. Proven ability to lead with integrity, fairness, and professionalism. Experience in budgeting and resource management is an asset.
