Physiotherapy Assistant

*Job Overview*

Looking for an enthusiastic and energetic physiotherapy assistant along with experience as a receptionist with string communication skills for a well established multi disciplinary clinic at Cambridge.

Ideal candidate should possess knowledge of assisting physiotherapists for assessments and treating clients as per directives and under protocols

Also having experience in customer care , confirming and rescheduling clients ad billing with insurance companies . Additional training will be provided as required.

Knowledge and experience in handling MVA/WSIB cases will be an added plus

Remuneration is not a constraint to right candidates with relevant experience

* Assist with conducting one-on-one exercises with the assigned resident as directed by the Physiotherapist.
* Encourage residents to reach the goals of their planned treatment programs if appropriate.
* Document treatments and residents' progress after each therapy session per the Physiotherapist?s instructions.
* Assist residents with walking, sitting, and safe transferring.
* Perform treatments such as applying an ice pack or hot pack, ultrasound therapy, TENS (electrotherapy), hot wax, etc.

*Experience*

* Previous physiotherapy clinic experience is mandatory.
* Strong organizational skills and time management are essential for managing multiple patients efficiently.
* Excellent communication skills are necessary to interact effectively with diverse patient populations and healthcare professionals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 ? 30 per week
