We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician/ Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care, and ensuring the accuracy of pharmacy operations. This role is vital in delivering safe and effective medication management within a retail pharmacy setting. Prior experience in pharmacy technician/Assistant roles is highly valued, along with strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures.
*Duties*
* Assist pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, and labeling prescription medications accurately
* Manage inventory by stocking, organizing, and verifying medication supplies
* Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and offering medication guidance under supervision
* Enter prescription data into pharmacy systems with precision to ensure correct billing and record-keeping
* Maintain compliance with safety protocols, including proper storage and handling of medications
* Support medication administration processes as needed, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and medication plans
* Keep detailed records of prescriptions, inventory, and patient interactions to ensure accuracy and confidentiality
*Requirements*
* Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician/ Assistant is preferred
* Fillware Experience is preferred
* Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing medications and recording data
* Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork within healthcare environments
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of safety and quality
* Commitment to patient care excellence and adherence to all safety regulations
