This is an ideal position in a community pharmacy located within a collaborative multidisciplinary clinic. We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented individual to join our team immediately.

*A Day in the Life*

Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy through the following tasks:

* *Prescription Processing: *Assist the pharmacist in entering prescriptions into the software (Kroll), accurately typing/printing labels, and filling/billing prescriptions.
* *Customer Service:* Provide friendly and professional assistance to patients, process sales transactions, and answer incoming telephone calls
* *Inventory Management: *Take inventory of medications/supplies and restock shelves.
* *Workflow Support:* Prepare medication compounding sheets, assemble products for pharmacist review, and attend to emails/faxes.
* *Triage:* Direct all questions relating to prescriptions, health matters, or clinical advice to the pharmacist.
* *Maintenance*: Ensure work areas remain organized and clean

*Qualifications & Skills*

*Experience: *

* Minimum 1 year of pharmacy retail experience (Preferred).
* Proven experience assisting in a pharmacy environment

*Education:*

* High school diploma or GED.

*Skills & Attributes:*

* *Customer Service:* Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
* *Communication*: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* *Technical: *Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with Kroll is an asset
* *Work Ethic:* Detail-oriented, accurate, trustworthy, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
