*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in community setting for at least 3 months starting January 2026. Position can be continued afterwards for fixed hours per week if interested. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for patients. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on drug therapies, managing medication distribution, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

*Duties*

* Review and interpret physician orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medications prescribed.
* Prepare and dispense medications, including compounding when necessary.
* Provide patient education on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
* Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust therapies as needed in collaboration with the healthcare team.
* Maintain accurate records of medication administration and inventory management.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and pharmacy policies.

*Requirements*

* Valid pharmacist license in Alberta.
* Previous experience in community pharmacy setting preferred.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.

*Skills*

* Injection Certified
* Additional Prescribing Authority (Preferred)
