*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Pharmacist to join our healthcare team and to manage the operations of the Pharmacy while on duty, This role offers an opportunity to provide exceptional patient care, including providing consultation to both customers and health care providers, practice to full scope in providing professional services, dispensing medication, and assisting in the maintenance of the dispensary, all within a dynamic clinical environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong pharmacy expertise and will be committed to ensuring safe and effective medication management. *Responsibilities*

* Customer service (greet patients and help with any questions)
* Practice within regulatory requirements and maintain all records within accordance of it.
* Ensure all requirements for documentation and control of substances under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Regulations are met and reporting to Health Canada and regulatory bodies
* Keep patient information confidential and private
* Provide counselling on prescriptions, over the counter, and health products
* Work within the expanded scope of practice with Professional Services
* Clear communication
* Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions dispensed
* Communicate with other health care professionals within the circle of care to provide customer care
* Report to the Pharmacy Manager and will be responsible for filling prescriptions and following the proper billing procedures.
* Supervise and assist with inventory (receiving and selling), ordering of prescription and dispensary, products, and other over-the-counter products.

*Qualifications (Requirements)*

* Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSc. Pharm) or Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD)
* Licensed and registered with Alberta College of Pharmacists
* Authorization to Administer Medications by Injection
* Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA)
* 1-2 years of Kroll experience
* Previous retail pharmacy experience
* Independent thinking
* Critical problem solving
* Clear communication skills
