About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented *Pest Control Technician* to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest issues, and applying safe and effective pest control solutions for residential and commercial clients. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

* Inspect residential, commercial, and/or industrial properties to identify pest activity and entry points
* Determine appropriate treatment plans based on pest type, severity, and environmental factors
* Apply pesticides and non-chemical treatments safely and in accordance with regulations
* Set traps, bait stations, and monitoring devices as required
* Educate clients on prevention strategies and post-treatment care
* Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation
* Follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines
* Maintain equipment, tools, and service vehicles in good working condition
* Provide professional, courteous service while on client sites

Qualifications & Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent
* *Structural Pesticide Licence (or willingness to obtain the licence by successfully completing the required exam)*
* Valid driver?s licence with a clean driving record
* Ability to work independently and manage daily schedules
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, climbing, working in confined spaces)
* Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
* Basic computer or mobile app skills for reporting and scheduling

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in pest control or a related field
* Knowledge of local pest species and treatment methods
* Experience working with residential, commercial, or industrial clients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
