Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Urban area. Tasks: Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities. Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up and assembling of medical equipment. Assist with maintenance and repair of medical equipment. Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort. Perform other duties related to personal care. Weigh, lift, turn and position patients. Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens between departments. Transport patients between care facilities. Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher. Administer first aid in emergency situations. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Vehicle supplied by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods.
