Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate *Pastry Cook* to join the culinary team of a Michelin-starred restaurant dedicated to excellence, precision, and innovation. The Pastry Cook will assist in producing refined desserts, petit fours, breads, and plated pastry components that reflect the restaurant?s elevated standards and creative vision. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, discipline, and a deep respect for ingredients, technique, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and execute a wide range of *high-end pastry and dessert items*, including plated desserts, petits fours, tarts, mousses, ice creams, and specialty breads.
* Assist the *Executive Pastry Chef* in daily mise en place and service preparation.
* Execute pastry components with *precision, consistency, and aesthetic excellence* suitable for Michelin-level service.
* Maintain strict *quality control and plating standards* during service.
* Measure and prepare ingredients accurately according to recipes and production schedules.
* Assist with *menu development, seasonal desserts, and creative testing* when requested.
* Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients in accordance with food safety standards.
* Maintain a *clean, organized, and efficient pastry station* at all times.
* Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless coordination during service.
* Uphold the restaurant?s standards for *discipline, professionalism, and teamwork*.

Qualifications

* 2?4 years of experience in *fine dining, luxury hospitality, or Michelin-level kitchens*.
* Formal training in *pastry arts or culinary arts* preferred.
* Strong understanding of classical and modern pastry techniques.
* Experience with *plated desserts, chocolate work, sugar work, and frozen desserts* is highly valued.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a *high-volume, high-precision environment*.
* Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
