Fulltime Permanent Pastry cook

*Schedule is Friday -Tuesday Must work weekends*

We are currently hiring 1 pastry cook for our location in Kamloops. The ideal candidate is a team player who works well under pressure in a dynamic and fast paced environment. They will have the opportunity to learn from an experienced kitchen team and work with exceptional seasonal products. Must have Excellent English language communication skills

Food safe Certificate (required) get within 30 days

Baking / Pastry experience (require) 2-5 years the more the better.

Can lift 25lbs (Required)

Work weekends & 7:30-4 & 6-2 Shift (Required)

Job Functions

Understand baking ingredients

Be able to make cookies, bars and tarts, cake sponges, buttercream, muffins, scones, croissants

Responsible for daily and weekly pastry/ baking production

prepares all food items in a sanitary and timely manner

prepare food items consistently by adhering to all recipes

maintain a safe working environment by using safe food handling skills

work in a team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.50-$21.00 per hour
