We are currently looking to fill the position of Painter to work within our properties in Kitchener/Waterloo/Guelph, Ontario.

*ROLE STATUS*

*Reports To: *Senior Property Manager

*Status: *This is a newly created position to support current and future operational needs.

*ABOUT THE ROLE*

TerraCorp Management, is looking for a Painter to be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing materials, and applying paint or finishes to ensure high-quality results.

As the *Painter *you will:

* Provide diligent and quality workmanship
* Cover and protect all surfaces (interior and/or exterior)
* Prep paint surface areas ? sand and scrape (to smooth and even surface)
* Dry wall repair, filing holes and caulking where needed
* Prime/seal as required
* Apply 2 coats (min.) of paint to surfaces as required
* Installation, removal, and repair of wallpaper on walls and columns
* Site clean-up (daily)
* Setting up and use of ladders and scaffolding
* Focus on task completion in a timely manner without compromising quality
* Ensure health and safety regulations are followed

*WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED*

* 3 to 5 years? experience with paint, plaster and wallpaper
* Great attention to detail
* Customer service oriented
* Good communication skills, to ensure items are addressed as needed
* Ability to work independently and self motivated
* Positive attitude and team player
* Must have their own vehicle (mileage compensated)

Salary range for this position is *$25.00 - $30.00* per hour. We offer the following benefits:
