Office Manager

Westvac Industrial Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and driven *Office Manager* to lead our Winnipeg branch operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong business acumen, customer service expertise, and a background in industrial, mechanical, or equipment-based industries.

The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing daily operations, supporting sales and service functions, and driving overall branch performance in alignment with company objectives.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Oversee and manage day-to-day branch operations in coordination with Head Office
* Support and contribute to *sales activities*, including acting as a representative for Fleet and Fire divisions as required
* Monitor and review branch financial performance, budgets, and operational efficiency
* Lead *recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee development*
* Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and relationship management
* Coordinate scheduling of field service technicians and optimize workflow efficiency
* Develop working knowledge of all product lines to provide informed support to customers and staff
* Collaborate with Parts and Service teams to prepare quotes, process orders, and ensure customer satisfaction
* Oversee shipping, receiving, and logistics; provide hands-on support when required
* Manage inventory levels, tracking, and replenishment of parts and equipment
* Ensure proper maintenance and tracking of company vehicles, tools, and facility assets
* Lead and participate in *Health & Safety initiatives*, including Safety Committee involvement and compliance with company policies

*Qualifications & Skills*

* Minimum *5 years of experience* in office management, branch operations, or a similar leadership role
* Experience in *industrial, mechanical, municipal, or equipment-related industries* is strongly preferred
* Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team development abilities
* Strong customer service and relationship management skills
* Solid understanding of *financial reporting, budgeting, and operational performance*
* Mechanical or technical aptitude is a strong asset
* Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
* Valid driver?s license with a clean abstract
* Class 3 and Q endorsement considered an asset
* Willingness to travel occasionally and support operational needs
* Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude

*Physical & Safety Requirements*

* Ability to lift and carry materials up to 75 lbs; push/pull up to 300 lbs with assistance
* Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, climbing stairs/ladders, and extended periods of standing, walking, and sitting
* Comfortable working in shop/yard environments with exposure to varying weather conditions
* Experience operating equipment (e.g., forklift) is an asset
* Adherence to all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
* Use of Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) as required
