*Job Overview*
We are seeking an experienced office assistant providing administrative support in a busy work environment managing daily office tasks with a positive, professional attitude within the work place. Experience with strong knowledge in bookeeping/accounting procedures is a priority to ensure the efficient functioning operation of our office. The ideal candidate must be highly adaptable having the ability to respond efficiently to shifting priorities & handling interruptions or urgent tasks as they arise or have been requested. Handling pressure with the responsibility to paying great attention to detail at all times is a must. This position requires a motivated, dependable, detail-focused candidate to ensure accurate timely completion with the ability to manage multiple responsibities.
*Responsibilities*
· Answering and directing phone calls
· Organizing and scheduling appointments
· Maintaining filing systems and office supplies
· Handling correspondence (emails, letters, packages)
· Providing internal accounting support, including data entry for accounts payable
· Prepares reconciliations of credit cards
· Maintaining accurate financial records and file maintenance
*Requirements*
· Education: Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field with a minimum of 5 to 10 years experience
. Previous office or administrative experience
· Strong computer skills that includes a accounting software and Microsoft Excel/Word
· Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy
· Excellent communication and organizational skills strongly required
· Ability to multi-task and set priorities to ensure timely completion of work within established deadlines
