Nurse Practitioner

Maliya Wellness Centre, located in the beautiful town of Cochrane, Alberta, is seeking a dedicated *Nurse Practitioner specializing in women (and men?s) health* with expertise in *Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)* to join our expanding team.
This is a unique opportunity to receive full support from a collaborative in-house team of healthcare professionals and administrative staff. Together, we help women navigate perimenopause, menopause, PMDD, PCOS, and other hormonal transitions, and support men with hormonal challenges with compassion and comprehensive care.

*Responsibilities*

* Conduct consultations to assess and manage symptoms related to perimenopause, menopause, PMDD, PCOS, and more.
* Develop personalized treatment plans, including synthetic or bioidentical HRT, aligned with evidence-based guidelines.
* Educate clients about treatment options, lifestyle support, and preventive care.
* Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records using the *Jane EMR system *in alignment with PIPEDA/PIPA regulations.
* Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging as required.
* Make appropriate referrals to local providers to ensure collaborative, well-rounded patient care.
* Prescribe BHRT through trusted local compounding pharmacies.
* Monitor client progress using Maliya?s structured BHRT protocol (see website), including prescription management, documentation, and symptom tracking.
* Perform thorough health assessments and ensure detailed documentation for all client interactions.

*Qualifications *

* Current private independent registration with *Netcare*.
* Current registration with the *College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)*.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and client-centered care skills.
* Advanced training in *Bioidentical and Synthetic hormones*
* Individual liability insurance.
* Commitment to attending monthly staff meetings (virtual or in-person).
