Education: College/CEGEP. Tasks: Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects. Interpret and document liquid penetrant inspection. Establish NDI techniques and calibration standards. Calibrate, test and interpret ultrasonic equipment. Set up, calibrate, operate and interpret magnetic particle, eddy current, liquid penetrant, acoustic emission, and infrared thermographic equipment. Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations. Instruct and supervise trainees. Maintain test result reports. Supervision: 3-4 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses�: Nondestructive Testing Certificate. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
