Measure weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting. Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials. Perform pre-operational inspection. Clean and lubricate cranes. Instruct apprentices. Perform routine maintenance work. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses�: Boom Truck Crane Operator Trade Certification. Oil Sands Safety Association (OSSA). Oil Sands Safety Association (OSSA) basic safety orientation (BSO). Mobile Crane Operator Trade Certification. Hoisting Licence. Mobile Crane Operator Red Seal Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Confined Space Entry Training. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate. Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
