Millwright

Overview

The Millwright will perform all tasks for the assembly of various styles of mechanical clutches and gearboxes. As well as all tasks required for the inspection and refurbishment of these products when returned. On-Site Service at a customer?s location in North America are required.

Key Responsibilities

� Assembly of mechanical power transmission systems, incl. Gearboxes, Clutches and Brakes

� Perform inspections on gearboxes, clutches and brakes and work with engineering to determine the scope of the refurbishment

� Perform preventative and corrective maintenance procedures on company equipment including CNC-Equipment

� Determine causes for mechanical troubles of equipment and make- or recommend- repairs and corrections, in-house or on-site

� Assist in providing skill enhancement training to other personnel.

� Ability to read measurement tools

Experience and Skills

� Post-secondary education

� Millwright Certification

� Minimum 5 years? experience in Millwright field

� Ability to read 2D and 3D assembly drawings

� Ability to operate Company vehicles and equipment (e.g. forklift, man-lift, crane, etc.) and maintain operating licenses and certifications.

� Experience with planetary gearboxes and/or with hydraulic/pneumatic clutches preferred

� Experience in maintaining and rebuilding of mechanical stamping presses an asset

� Ability to operate machine shop equipment such as lathes and boring mills an asset

� Able to lift 55lbs

� Attention to accuracy and detail

� Disciplined to follow technical instructions

� Open to new ideas and improvements

� Trouble shooting experience
