We are seeking an *experienced, dedicated, and organized Medical Office Assistant* to join our healthcare team.

* *Must have phlebotomy experience* and be able to perform *intramuscular (IM) injections* confidently and safely.
* Strong knowledge of *medical terminology* and *administrative procedures*.
* Highly proficient in *computer skills* and *administrative systems*.
* Excellent *verbal and written communication skills*.
* Proficient in *phone system operations* and the use of *basic office equipment*.
* Ability to *multitask* effectively in a *fast-paced environment* while maintaining *high attention to detail*.
* Demonstrates a *positive, professional attitude* and a *commitment to exceptional patient care*.
*Responsibilities & Duties*
* Greet patients warmly and assist with the *check-in process*.
* Manage phone systems to *handle incoming calls*, *schedule appointments*, and *address patient inquiries*.
* Manage entries from *online intake forms*, emails, and other sources of *new patient requests* to join the practice, ensuring they are processed and booked in a timely manner.
* Maintain *accurate patient records* using *OSCAR EMR*.
* Verify *patient insurance information* and address *billing inquiries*.
* Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure *timely patient care* and follow-up.
* *Maintain physicians? appointment schedules* and ensure patients are booked appropriately.
* Perform general administrative tasks including *filing*, *data entry*, *scanning*, *faxing*, and maintaining a *clean and organized front desk area*.
* Assist physicians with *basic clinical tasks*, including *taking bloods* (phlebotomy) and *giving intramuscular (IM) injections*.
* Ensure *compliance with health regulations* and uphold *patient confidentiality standards*.
