SUMMARY OF THE VARIOUS JOBS IN MEDICAL DEVICE REPROCESSING UNIT SERVICES Medical Device Reprocessing Assistant (2071)This position is intended for individuals who are working towards becoming a certified Medical Device Reprocessing Technician (MDRT 2070). Under the guidance of a certified Medical Device Reprocessing Technician, individuals will learn how to process reusable supplies, instruments and equipment.Medical Device Reprocessing Technician (2070) Performs a series of detailed technical duties related to the decontamination, sterilization, reassembly, function testing, and distribution of medical and/or surgical supplies and medical devices for various areas of the hospital.
