Our mechanics work on light fleet vehicles, school buses, plow trucks and heavy equipment. This work is vital to keep the Province's fleet safely on the road. What you will doAs a member of the Vehicle Management Agency, the successful candidate will be responsible for:the maintenance, repair and installation of automotive and related equipment.Work environment:Location: Moncton.40-hour work week, with variable hours, including evenings and weekends, when required.We promote a scent-reduced environment.Some travel within the region will be required.Who you areKey behavioural competencies:Analytical Thinking/JudgmentResults OrientationTeamwork and CooperationEssential Qualifications:Possession of Journeyperson's certificates in the Automotive Service Technician (AST) and the Truck and Transport (T&T) trades as issued by the Province of New Brunswick.Valid Class 5 driver's license as issued by the Province of New Brunswick.Please attach a copy of your certificates with your application.An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.Written and spoken competence in English is required.
