Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?This position is responsible for supporting the Capital Markets' supplier risk management activities and will function as the subject matter expert in working with key business partners and centers of governance for overall due diligence activities across RBC Capital Markets.The incumbent will be responsible to facilitate third party risk management, due diligence, monitoring, and compliance related activities. The Supplier Risk Management team leads the platform in driving best practices for the management and oversight of supplier relationships globally, including defining roles, relationships, activities, and tools.What will you do?Supplier Risk Management Assessments (SRMAs) Act as a central point of contact for the Business Unit (Supplier Manager), Centers of Governance (CoGs), and Supplier(s)Onboard net new suppliers and/or POCsConduct reassessments and ad hoc reviews Provide guidance to BU partners regarding the initiation of PARA, Model Risk Review, app code creation, new technology requests, and E-Messaging supplier demosCompleting required SaaS Shared Responsibilities Assessment, documenting subcontractor controls and gaps, financial and AML reviews.Completing Terminations Assessments as required for ending or expired engagements.Value Added ServicesExit StrategiesPerformance Management QuestionnairesSupplier Manager AttestationsService Organization Control AssessmentsCoordinating the risk treatment approach for IT risk findings during the SRMA risk assessment cycle Audit & regulatory supportNotifying business units of data breachesCommunication & Training Provide Supplier Risk Management education to internal stake holders related to policy changes and third-party requirementsProjectsIdentify gaps and implement enhancements with current processes and proceduresManage or support projects related to supplier risk management activities.What you need to succeed?University Degree3 years minimum experience in supplier risk management highly preferredGood level understanding of RBC's infrastructure services and organizationUnderstanding of the Capital Markets organization and productsEffective collaborator and positive team member with strong interpersonal skillsStrong customer service and consulting skillsStrong presentation and coaching skillsStrong planning, analytical & critical thinking, organizational, change managementActs with sense of urgency and demonstrates an ability to drive deliverables to competitionClient-focused and process-driven, ability to build loyalty and trust by proactively anticipating needs / resolving issuesWhat's in it for you?
