Duties and Responsibilities:Implement, maintain and supervise all safety/security/compliance measures related to people, equipment and facilities within the operation.Ensure proper handling and delivery of cargo.Instruct personnel in the proper working practices and update instruction as required. Maintain safe operation of warehouse, vehicles and equipment.Provide leadership and mentorship to the Cargo and Ground TeamProvide effective account management to current client base.Ensure all paperwork related to Cargo & Ramp operations is accurate.Scheduling, monitoring and evaluating all departmental staff.Monitoring and measurement of operational objectives.Review operational targets and create recommendations and strategies to meet company objectives and budgets.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:2 years of relevant work experience in airline operations or related industries considered an asset. Supervisory/management experience would be a preferred asset.Post-secondary education would be considered an asset.Knowledgeable of applicable cargo handling and Transport Canada regulationsThorough knowledge of warehouse operations, ramp operations and freighter handling is requiredExperience in enhancing operational efficiency and safetyMust be able to work independently and in a team environment.Must be detailed and driven with the ability to process information quickly.
