The Individual contributor role playscritical part in advancing GTB's data strategy by delivering trusted, scalable analytics solutions that improve operational efficiency, client experience, and risk management. The role requiresstrong blend of engineering excellence, GTP domain understanding and the ability to collaborate and influence across multiple stakeholders like Product, Sales, Operations, Technology, and Finance teams. What You'll Do: Championscustomer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.Execute and deliver on the GTB analytics engineering strategy, ensuring alignment with GTB business priorities using modern data practices that support GTB's need for timely insights, operational monitoring, and predictive analytics.Design and deliver robust, scalable data pipelines across GTB's complex product ecosystem (payments, cash management, trade, liquidity, channels) globally across North America, Europe and Latin AmericaPartner with Technology on the delivery of the modernization effort of GTB's data landscape, including cloud migration, data governance framework and practices like metadata management, automated data quality checks, and data observability.Embed data quality checks, lineage, and metadata standards into all engineering workflows within the GTB Analytics ecosystem.Partner with Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics teams within GTB Analytics to enable operational dashboards and advanced analytics like forecasting, Gen-AI integration.Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Consistently 'does the right thing' to keep the Bank safe and fosters an environment where they, employees, customers, and stakeholders can speak upraise concerns.Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
