Job DescriptionWhat is the Opportunity? The position is responsible for the planning and successful delivery of long term andor complex technology projects or programs inspecific business unit while leading matrixed project team members that are each responsible for elements therein. This includes building technology project governance structures and delivery plans to enable fulfillment of articulated business goals. Role is instrumental in driving and tracking project activities, schedule, scope, and budget, as well as negotiating changes in plans and effective communication with all stakeholders. Success of technology project outcomes will be measured by the degree with which the initiative was delivered within time line expectations, budget and scope.WHAT WILL YOU DO?Independently manages multiple highly complex long-term projects and/or programs with significant impact on business processes and technology used firm wideInfluences strategic direction and develops tactical plans with substantial latitudeProvides comprehensive solutions to complex problems and has extensive contact with internal clients and the businessIndependently manages complex projects and programs from proposal and requirements definition to project planning and implementation, using broad and extensive input from industry and/or business unit subject matter expertsIndependently manages highly complex project, program and/or portfolio budgetsIndependently drives and manages project, program and/or portfolio activities relating to meeting objectives, budgets, scope, quality standards and schedulesPerforms project risk assessments, including identifying key risk factors, providing effective mitigation strategies and assigning contingency action plans to both schedules and budgetsManages projects and teams, including applying established methodologies, using change control templates and processes; managing time and recording activities using defined scheduling tools; monitoring budgets; coordinating resource acquisition and utilization; serving asliaison with internal customers and external suppliers; and communicating regularly with project stakeholders.Interfaces with all levels of management throughout the bankDisplays creativity when designing solutions to problemsCreates formalized reports and presentations and presents them to senior and executive level managementCreates effective governance structures and routines that consider strategic goals, existing project portfolios and multi-divisional impactsContributes effectively to the collective team effort and offers ideas and solutions to complex problemsRecognized astrusted mentor and leader throughout the bank and iscredible role model to junior staff and peersLeads Solution selection and implementation which impacts critical Bank units or functionsParticipates in long-range planning and development of application or product roadmaps with business ownersWHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?Must HavesMinimumyears' experience with project/program management methodologies, project management tools and techniques across all project activities along with Bachelor's degree or equivalent education inrelevant fieldMinimumyears' experience managing technology projects and/or programs; be able to manage highly complex technology projects/programs involving large teamsExpert level skills in financial & stakeholder management; the role will require presenting to Sr. leaders.Excellent presentation skills withdemonstrated ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions insimple and logical mannerWell-developed analytical skills and demonstrated ability to provide clarity to complex issues and synthesize large amounts of informationMust be able to create highly complex MS Project plans, MS PowerPoint decks and Excel workbooksNice to Haves:Agile Scrum Master Certification preferred and/oryears of Agile Scrum Master experienceBanking or financial industry e
