*About the Role*

St. Charles Country Club is seeking Line Cooks to join our culinary team. Working alongside our Executive Chef, this role plays an important part in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests.

Our kitchen prepares food across multiple outlets including upscale casual member dining, banquets and events, and on-course concessions, providing cooks the opportunity to develop a wide range of culinary skills in a professional club environment.

Our culinary program emphasizes quality ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and consistent execution across both à la carte dining and high-level banquet service.

*What You'll Do*

* Prepare and cook menu items during service
* Complete daily prep and maintain organized mise en place
* Take ownership of assigned stations during service, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency
* Confidently work multiple stations on the line depending on service needs
* Follow established recipes, plating standards, and food safety practices
* Assist with receiving and proper storage of food products
* Maintain a clean and organized workstation
* Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure smooth service

*What We're Looking For*

* Previous experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume or professional kitchen environment
* Ability to perform well during busy service periods
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
* Must have access to reliable transportation (not serviced by bus routes)
* Food Handler Certification preferred
* Culinary diploma or Red Seal certification considered an asset
* Experience in a golf club, banquet, or multi-outlet kitchen considered an asset
* A passion for hospitality and making people happy through great food
