Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Nursing home/home for the aged. Tasks: Administer medications. Ensure infection control. Observe and record medication's therapeutic and side effects . Record medication's therapeutic and side effects observations in patient files. Take vital signs. Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families. Provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures. Monitor patients' progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and consult with appropriate members of healthcare team. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses�: First Aid Certificate. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Employment terms options: Evening. Morning. Day. Health benefits: Dental plan.
