Lawn Care Supervisor

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Tasks: Resolve work problems by providing technical advice to increase the value and functionality of a property. Schedule events, programs and activities. Schedule work. Plan and estimate labour and materials. Tender and administer contracts. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses�: Provincial licence/certification to apply chemical fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides and pesticides. Equipment and machinery experience: Small engine equipment. Specialization or experience: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge. Area of specialization: Lawn care. Tree service. Grounds maintenance. Security and safety: Driver's validity licence check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Ability to distinguish between colours.
