Job Description Job Description The Role: The Landscaper role is responsible for maintaining the exterior appearance, safety, and accessibility of storage facilities year-round. This role performs landscaping and grounds maintenance during warmer months and supports snow and ice removal operations during winter to ensure safe access for customers and staff. SummerLandscaping Duties Perform routine grounds maintenance including: Grass cutting and trimming Weed control and removal Hedge and shrub trimming Litter and debris removal Basic irrigation checks and watering where required Maintain clean and professional property appearance Report landscaping concerns or hazards to management Assist with minor exterior repairs and site upkeep as needed WinterSnowIce Removal Duties Operate snow removal equipment including snow blowers and salting equipment (where trained and authorized) Shovel snow from: Doorways and entry points Walkways and pedestrian areas Loading areas and high-traffic zones Apply salt and ice melt to prevent hazardous conditions Support team members in snow removal operations during winter events Ensure sites remain safe and accessible during and after snowstorms SafetyCompliance Follow all health and safety procedures and PPE requirements Operate equipment safely and report defects or hazards Maintain awareness of weather conditions and respond proactively Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Capable of prolonged standing, walking, bending, and shoveling QualificationsSkills Experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or snow removal preferred Ability to operate landscaping tools and snow removal equipment Strong teamwork and reliability Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and storm response shifts Work Environment Outdoor work in varying weather conditions, including heat, rain, snow, and cold temperatures Work performed across multiple storage facility locations What we offer: growing company with opportunities for advancement. supportive, collaborative, and team-based work environment.
