Landscape Labourer

*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and contribute to the creation and maintenance of beautiful outdoor spaces. This role involves hands-on work in landscaping, gardening, and construction projects, requiring physical stamina and a passion for outdoor work. The ideal candidate will have experience with various tools and equipment, including mechanical and power tools, and possess a strong work ethic to ensure high-quality landscape maintenance and installation.

*Responsibilities*

* Assist in landscape installation, including planting, sod laying, and soil preparation
* Operate equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems to support landscaping projects
* Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks such as trimming, mowing, weeding, and mulching
* Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction and landscaping tasks
* Maintain irrigation systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs as needed
* Support horticultural activities by planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and maintaining garden beds
* Assist with general construction tasks related to landscape projects, including fencing, paving, or structural work
* Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and organized at the end of each shift

*Qualifications*

* Prior experience with landscaping, gardening, or horticulture is preferred
* Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation and maintenance is a plus
* Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction practices
* Ability to operate machinery such as excavators or other heavy equipment is desirable but not mandatory
* Knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape maintenance techniques is advantageous
* Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions
* Ability to follow safety protocols diligently and work effectively as part of a team
* Valid driver's license is preferred for transporting equipment or materials to job sites

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
