Kitchen Helper

*Job Overview*
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the food industry, with a focus on delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. The Kitchen Team Member will play a vital role in meal preparation, food safety, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen space. Prior restaurant or food handling experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided to ensure all team members meet our high standards of service and safety.

*Duties*

* Assist in meal preparation and food assembly according to recipes and quality standards
* Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene practices during food handling and preparation
* Support cooking activities, including basic cooking techniques and plating of dishes
* Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies
* Assist with inventory management by restocking ingredients and supplies as needed
* Follow all food safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe dining experience for customers
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
* Support serving staff when necessary by delivering prepared meals to customers or assisting with order assembly

*Requirements*

* Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
* Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food safety standards
* Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
* Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays if needed
* Food handling certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is a plus
