Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Animal hospital. Tasks: Bathe and shampoo animals. Document animal behaviour. Monitor animal behaviour. Prepare food and feed animals. Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures. Assist with inoculation and treatment of animals. Maintain inventory of supplies. Provide customer service. Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up and assembling of medical equipment. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Team player. Ability to multitask. Punctuality.
