Journeyman/Woman Automotive Mechanic

Join Our Team! We are looking for a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on repair experience, and a commitment to quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Responsibilities Conduct vehicle inspections, report findings to the Shop Manager, and document results on work orders. Use electronic diagnostic equipment to assist with troubleshooting and vehicle diagnostics. Perform engine and transmission repairs. Replace brakes and complete exhaust system repairs. Replace wheel bearings and perform suspension repairs. Remove, repair, balance, and install tires. Perform wheel alignment adjustments and suspension adjustments. Complete routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid changes. Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. Qualifications & Skills Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems. Proven ability to perform a wide range of automotive repairs and maintenance. Excellent customer service and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, read gauges, and interpret diagnostic equipment readings. Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and recommend appropriate repair solutions is considered an asset.
